Welcome to IGS English

IGS English was established in 2007 by Ms Florence Tee. She was awarded The Most Influential Young Entrepreneur 2019, JCI Creative Young Entrepreneur Award 2019 and Top 10 of Malaysia 2019. She also appears in a few publications like Top 10 of Malaysia Magazine, Smart Parenthing, Natural Health and Healthy Lifestyle, The Star, Sin Chew, Entrepreneur Insight Magazine and more.

The first English centre was in Penang when she was doing her Masters in Teaching English as a Second Language in Universiti Sains Malaysia. Three years later, the founder decided to start her business from scratch in Petaling Jaya, using the same approach and philosophy.

What is unique about IGS English? We only provide English classes for both national and international school students from age 4 to 18. We believe that English teaching helps our students to communicate effectively and grow as individuals.

We are proud of the quality of our teaching as our teachers have TEFL/TESL qualification or equivalent. Some of our teachers are also speakers of national conferences in education. Our teachers have been with us for many years as they are passionate in their teaching which gets the students interested and even excited about what they are learning. Passion is what makes students decide to study more.

 

The current national school syllabus is not sufficient to prepare our children for academic studies in higher education or professional realm. This is where we play a vital role in teaching, nurturing and instilling good moral values in them. We want them to be able to think and converse effectively, critically and creatively.

 

Our tuition fee is affordable and reasonable so that everyone can attend quality English classes. Our ultimate goal is to guide our students to excel in their academic and future careers. We only do one thing and we do it BEST!
